A mine exploded in the area of Chaily village of Tartar region.

Axar.az reports that this was stated in the joint information released by the press services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the General Prosecutor's Office, and the Minesweeping Agency (ANAMA).

It was reported that Polad Alish oghlu Ismayilov, born in 1969, Arzuman Ahliman oghlu Taghizadeh, born in 1992, and Elmir Elnur oghlu Bagirov, born in 2006, were injured as a result of a mine explosion that occurred while grazing animals on the former contact line, in an area not cleared of mines.

An investigation is underway at the Tartar district prosecutor's office.

"The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Prosecutor General's Office, and ANAMA once again call on citizens to observe safety rules, not to enter unfamiliar areas, and to pay attention to all signs indicating danger!", - it was stated in the information.

Both legs of one of the 3 people injured as a result of a mine explosion in Tartar were amputated.

One of the injured, Polad Alish oghlu Ismayilov, was admitted to the Tartar District Central Hospital, and the other 2 persons, whose condition was relatively serious, were admitted to the Barda District Central Hospital.
