Azerbaijan starts exercises with Uzbekistan

According to the Bilateral Cooperation Plan for 2024 signed between the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan, "Maharat-2024" computer-supported tactical command-staff training will be held between the two countries.

Axar.az was informed about this by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.

It was reported that more than 100 military personnel from both countries will be involved in the training to be held from September 30 at the Military Games Center of the Military Administration Institute.

The main purpose of conducting the training is to improve the mutual activity of the operational units of the Azerbaijani and Uzbek armies and to increase the combat capability, to develop the military decision-making, initiative and management skills of the operational unit commanders.

It should be noted that "Maharat-2024" computer-supported tactical team-headquarters training will continue until October 6.
