Microsoft bug: 8.5 million devices affected

A bug caused by a software update from "Crowdstrike" on the Microsoft Azure cloud storage platform affected about 8.5 million devices running the Windows operating system.

Axar.az reports that "Microsoft" published information about this on its blog.

"While software updates can sometimes cause problems, major incidents like the one with Crowdstrike are rare. We estimate that the Crowdstrike update affected 8.5 million Windows devices, or less than 1% of Windows devices.", - it was mentioned in the information.

It is noted that "Crowdstrike" helped Microsoft to develop a solution that would allow them to deal with the situation quickly.
