Unidentified drone enters Netherlands airspace

Two F-35 fighter jets were scrambled after an unidentified drone was spotted in Dutch airspace.

Axar.az reports that the Netherlands Ministry of Defense provided this information.

According to the report, the fighters responding to the alert regarding the unidentified object returned to the “Volkel” airbase:

“It was a drone that posed no threat and had already left the country’s airspace. Its origin is still unknown. Air traffic controllers could not establish contact with the drone when it entered Dutch airspace. There was no negative impact on air traffic, and no flight restrictions were necessary.”
