Israel strikes Hezbollah HQs to weaken rocket units

The Israeli Defense Forces, on February 20, carried out an airstrike on a Hezbollah command center in eastern Lebanon, near Baalbek.

Axar.az, citing Times of Israel, reports that the site was reportedly used by Hezbollah to plan and execute attacks against Israeli targets.

In a statement, the IDF said Hezbollah “systematically embeds its assets within the civilian population,” using civilians as shields to advance attacks, which violates ceasefire agreements between Israel and Lebanon. The military described the command center’s activity as a direct threat to Israel’s security.
