Magnitude 5.7 earthquake hits Afghanistan

A 5.7-magnitude earthquake struck Badakhshan province in Afghanistan.

Axar.az reports that the earthquake occurred at 16:12 local time, with its epicenter at a depth of 67 km.

According to reports, the tremors were also felt in Uzbekistan.

In Surxondarya province, the earthquake’s magnitude reached up to 2.

No information has been reported yet regarding casualties or damage.
