Iranian drone strikes hit fuel depot at Kuwait airport

The Kuwaiti General Civil Aviation Authority reported that Iranian drones targeted a fuel depot at Kuwait International Airport, igniting a fire at the facility.

Axar.az reports, citing Gulf News, military spokesperson Colonel Staff Saud Al-Atwan confirmed that national air defense systems intercepted the hostile drones and missiles breaching the country's airspace, with the Kuwait National Guard successfully downing six drones.

Official spokesperson Abdullah Al Rajhi stated that initial reports indicate the damage is limited to material losses, with no casualties or injuries reported. Emergency procedures were activated immediately, and firefighting teams have since contained the blaze.

Authorities affirmed that Kuwait’s combined forces remain at peak combat readiness to protect the nation's security and sovereign interests.
