Iran: Nuclear issue not on agenda in US talks

A knowledgeable source in Iran’s negotiating team has said that International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Grossi is not taking part in the ongoing Iran–US discussions in Switzerland.

Axar.az reports, citing Fars News Agency, that despite reports suggesting Grossi’s presence, the nuclear file is not included on the agenda for this round of talks.

It was also emphasized that none of the members of Iran’s nuclear committee are participating in the delegation currently attending the negotiations.

The source added that discussions on the nuclear issue would only be considered if the implementation of specific provisions—Articles 1, 4, 10, and 11—begins.
