Germany will send the production of the IRIS-T air defence system to Ukraine after it is fully completed at the end of the summer. In addition, the country will send howitzers to Ukraine.

Axar.az reports that German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock said this.

"Our problem, like many European countries, is that we don't have much of what Ukraine needs. That's why we will send to Ukraine the most modern IRIS-T air defence systems, which are currently in production. The issue of supplying weapons to Ukraine is not a race for space, it's all about it is about the joint support of the international community and NATO member countries to Ukraine," said Annalena Baerbock.
