The operation of the Ukrainian troops in the Kursk region caused concern in Belarus, and exercises were held in the country to "prevent the activities of illegal armed groups".

Axar.az reports that the "Stolin-2024" training took place in the Brest region, located on the border with Ukraine and Poland, under the leadership of the Minister of Internal Affairs Ivan Kubrakov. The purpose of the exercise was to "stop the activity of illegal armed groups".

According to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Belarus, the plan of the event was drawn up taking into account the situation in the Kursk region, and the main issue is to ensure the safety of the population.
