The Armenian leadership bears the blame for the recent events in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan.

Axar.az reports that the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, said these words in a meeting with representatives of various nationalities living in the country.

"What happened in Karabakh is only the fault of the Armenian leadership, I warned them (the Armenian authorities - ed.): give the territories to them (Azerbaijan - ed.). Moreover, they (Armenia - ed.) admitted that these "are not our territories. Yes, these are not our territories, but Azerbaijan's. But we will not give up, we will fight," he stressed.

The Belarusian leader noted that he called for a peaceful solution to the problem between Yerevan and Baku.

"Then I asked Putin. We both started asking Pashinyan:

"Solve the problem."

According to him, the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, answered this as follows:

"No, we will fight."

"They fought. Then what is the meaning of being offended by Russia and us? After all, you yourself admitted that Karabakh is the territory of Azerbaijan.

Who are you offended by? Who makes you talk like that? Apparently, he wants the West, the European Union," the head of state said.
