Russia has deployed additional units of the 106th Airborne Division in the Kursk region.

Axar.az reports that this was stated in the report by the U.S. Institute for the Study of War.

It was noted that Russia might begin redeploying more experienced forces to support ongoing counteroffensives:

"Footage published on September 11 shows units of Russia’s 137th Airborne Regiment (106th Airborne Division) participating in an assault northwest of Snagost. According to data as of late August, these units were operating in the Seversk direction in Ukraine. Units of the 51st Airborne Regiment of the 106th Airborne Division are also fighting in the Kursk region."

According to the institute’s analysts, Russia needs additional manpower and more experienced units to completely push Ukrainian forces out of the Kursk region:

"In addition to the additional units of the 106th Airborne Division, Russia may also concentrate more experienced combat formations in the Kursk region."
