The leader of Moldova's Gagauz autonomy, Yevgeniya Qutsul, has cut short her trip to Russia due to a court hearing in Chișinău.

Axar.az reports that Gutsul stated this in comments to journalists.

"I was supposed to speak at the Eurasian Women’s Forum in St. Petersburg today, but I had to return because of the court hearing, as I cannot miss a single meeting," Gutsul said.

It should be noted that Yevgeniya Gutsul is accused of violations in the financing of a political party.
