The Vice President of Messaging Products David Marcus stated that Facebook has launched the function of group voice calls in a messenger.

It is necessary to press on the icon on a telephone receiver in a group chat and to choose participants of conversation to call several users at once.

If someone misses the call, he or she will be able to join audio conference later. It is authorized to add up to 50 subscribers to a group call.

According to Marcus, the owners of devices with the latest version of messenger will have access to a function by Thursday, 21 April. The company did not disclose whether the group video calls will appear in the app.
