The duration of action of Russian-made vaccines against coronavirus has been announced.
Axar.az reports that Alexander Ginsburg, director of the Gamaley National Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology Research, said the Sрutnik V vaccine had a two-year shelf life.
He said it was not clear how long RNA-based vaccines would protect people.
Rinat Magsudov, director of the Vector State Science Center, said the EpiVakCorona vaccine would protect people from the coronavirus for at least six months.
"Studies in laboratory animals have shown that this vaccine is valid for at least 6 months."
