Armenian armed units violated ceasefire using 60, 82 mm mortars and large-caliber machine guns with Azerbaijan 100 times on various parts of the contact line of Azerbaijani and Armenia troops over the past 24 hours, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said on April 12.
Armenian armed units stationed in villages Paravakar, Berkaber and on nameless uplands of Armenia’s Ijevan district, Chinari, Mosesgekh and Aygepar villages of Berd district fired on the positions of Azerbaijani armed forces in Kohnagishlag village of Agstafa district, Gizilhajili village and on nameless uplands of Azerbaijan’s Gazakh district, Agbulag, Alibayli villages and nameless uplands of Tovuz district.
Moreover, Azerbaijani positions located on nameless uplands of Gadabay district came under fire from Armenian positions located on nameless uplands of Krasnoselsk district.
Another ceasefire violation came from the positions located in Chilaburt, Yarimcha villages of Terter district, Shikhlar, Bash Karvand, Javahirli, Sarijali, Kangarli, Novruzlu, Yusifjanli, Marzili villages of Aghdam district, Kuropatkino of Khojavend district, Garakhanbeyli, Horadiz, Gorgan, Ashaghi Seyidahmadli of Fizulu district, Mehdili of Jabrayil district, as well as on nameless uplands in Goygol, Goranboy, Khojavend, Fizuli and Jabrayil districts.
In consideration of the operational situation, Azerbaijani armed forces inflicted 101 strikes on enemy positions.
