The Summit ended with the adoption of a resolution on the Palestinian issue, the OIC Program of Action for 2016-2025 and the Istanbul Declaration.

Delivering a closing speech, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said unity and solidarity are very important to overcome the existing problems throughout the Islamic world.

“The adoption of the OIC Program of Action for 2016-2025 and the Istanbul Declaration is of great importance and we should work more effectively,” Erdogan said.

The final declaration covers a common position of the OIC member states on political processes and socio-economic issues, Turkey’s president stressed.
