Bayramov, Fidan discuss bilateral ties and regional issues

On January 20, 2026, a phone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkiye, Hakan Fidan.

Axar.az reports, citing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, that during the phone call, bilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkiye, as well as cooperation within international organizations, was discussed.

In addition, the parties exchanged views on regional security issues, the situation in the Middle East, and the Azerbaijan–Armenia normalization process.
