The President of the Republic of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has sent a congratulatory letter to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.
Axar.az presents the text of the letter:
"Mr. President, Dear Brother,
On the fourth anniversary of the Victory Day that ended the occupation of the ancient lands of Azerbaijan, I extend my heartfelt congratulations, on behalf of my people and personally, to Your Excellency and to all my Azerbaijani brothers and sisters.
This victory, achieved under your supreme command, has been a source of pride and inspiration not only for Azerbaijan but for the entire Turkic World. We were also delighted by the successful counter-terrorism operation you conducted in Karabakh last year, ensuring full control over these ancient lands, and the holding of parliamentary elections there for the first time in 30 years.
With the strength drawn from our unbreakable ties of friendship and brotherhood, crowned by the Shusha Declaration and embodied in the motto “One Nation, Two States,” I would like to express our readiness to provide every support for the reconstruction and redevelopment of the liberated regions. I am wholeheartedly confident that we will continue our close cooperation, solidarity, and coordination at both bilateral and international levels to ensure lasting peace, security, and stability in our region.
I pray for mercy from Almighty Allah for our brothers who were martyred for freedom and remember their precious memories with reverence. I also extend my gratitude to our veterans.
Dear Brother, taking this opportunity, I once again convey my best wishes for Your Excellency's health and happiness and the welfare of the beloved people of Azerbaijan.
May your victory be blessed and eternal!"
