"We are now focused on reconstruction work. This is our main priority. But when we see that Armenia and the forces behind it, who view Azerbaijan as an enemy and have declared a cold war on us, are arming Armenia, we are forced to take adequate measures."

Axar.az reports that President Ilham Aliyev made these remarks during his address to the people on Victory Day.

"The thirty years of occupation are not erased from our memory, and as I said earlier, they should never be forgotten. We must always be ready for new provocations, and we are prepared. The Azerbaijani Armed Forces are always on standby to repel any provocation. If anyone attempts to test our strength again, they will be defeated and humiliated once more," the President said.
