"Now, some Western supporters want to portray Armenia as a 'peace dove,' as if there were no 30 years of occupation, no destruction, no atrocities, no Khojaly genocide."

Axar.az reports that President Ilham Aliyev expressed these thoughts in his address to the nation on Victory Day.

“The destruction of our mosques, the desecration of our cemeteries, the devastation of all Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur – it’s as if these never happened. They want to make the world forget this, to erase it from the memory of the international community. But we will never forget, and the people of Azerbaijan must never forget this. Future generations must know this history and never forget it,” the President added.
