Putin approves 2025 intervention in Moscow

Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree on the holding of the Intervision Music Contest in 2025.

Axar.az reports that the event will take place in Moscow and the Moscow region.

According to the decree, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko was appointed Chairman of the Organizing Committee, and First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Sergey Kiriyenko was appointed Chairman of the Supervisory Board.

16 countries, including Azerbaijan, have confirmed their participation in the Intervision Music Contest, which was created as an analog of Eurovision. Participants from China, Brazil, the CIS countries, Latin America, and Asia will also participate in the contest.
