The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) will soon cease its activities in Azerbaijan.

Axar.az reports that Arulie Lachant, a public relations specialist at the ICRC, informed about this.

At the same time, she noted that they are currently conducting a dialogue with the Azerbaijani side regarding the future of their work in relation to persons under the protection of international humanitarian law.

She did not comment on the details of these discussions.

It should be noted that Dragana Kojic, head of the ICRC's Azerbaijani Representation, said on August 1 during a reception for Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov that the organization's Azerbaijani Representation will cease its activities in early September.
