In Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, intermittent rain is expected in some areas on August 12.
Axar.az informs according to the National Hydrometeorology Service, the rain in certain parts of the peninsula may be of a heavy, stormy nature, with possible lightning. The rain is expected to gradually stop by evening. Strong north-west winds will blow.
Temperatures will range from 18–21°C at night and 22–24°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure will rise from 758 to 763 mmHg, with relative humidity between 75–85%.
In other regions of Azerbaijan, intermittent rain and possible thunderstorms are expected in some areas. In certain places, the rain may be heavy and intense, with hail and, in high mountain areas, sleet. Fog is expected in some areas at night and in the morning. Westerly winds may occasionally strengthen in some regions.
Temperatures will range from 18–21°C at night and 24–28°C during the day in lowlands, and 6–10°C at night and 12–17°C during the day in mountainous areas.
