Message from 1993 predicted Chicago Cubs' win series

For the most part, yearbook quotes are vain attempts at making peers laugh, with the hope of maybe going viral. We don't really have them over in the UK, presumably because the majority of words would have to be censored.

Some can be eerie, though. Take Michael Lee's yearbook quote, for example. Like a Simpsons episode, people believe he predicted the future back in 1993. Which, in fairness, he did.

Graduating, he decided to leave behind the message of: "Chicago Cubs. 2016 World Champions. You heard it here first."

It was an odd claim, not least because the Cubs' last World Series triumph was back in 1908, but also because of how random a year 2016 was to select. If you're going to pick any year, it's weird to pick the one that's 23 years away.

The picture has since gone viral, and rightly so due to how freaky it is.

There were questions over the authenticity of it, as it'd be pretty easy to Photoshop, but other copies of that exact yearbook are appearing online, proving the prediction was real.

I bet he wishes he put some money on it now. Or maybe he did, who knows.

He must feel like the king of the world right now.
