Azerbaijani Defense Minister, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov sent a letter of condolence to the Turkish National Defense Minister Ismet Yilmaz, and the Chief of General Staff Hulusi Akar.

"The news was upset to me about treacherous terrorist act committed in Ankara and a large number of civilians killed and injured soldiers.

We are indignant from this terrible event, resolutely condemn terrorism and fight the harshest form against terrorism.

Let those victims who died rest in peace, we share grief of families of the deceased, I express my deepest condolences to their families. And I wish soonest recovery to the injured."
