Ilham Aliyev, the President of Republic of Azerbaijan has signed an order on the allocation of funds for the purchase of necessary medical equipment and other medical supplies within the framework of health measures implemented in the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Axar.az reports that according to the order, AZN 97.0 (ninety-seven) million has been allocated to the State Agency for Compulsory Medical Insurance from the reserve fund of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan envisaged in the state budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2020 for the purchase of necessary medical equipment and other medical supplies amid preventing the spread of the coronavirus pandemic and to strengthen the fight against it

Finance Ministry of the Republic of Azerbaijan will provide funding in the amount referred to in Section 1 of the Order.
