Two military vehicles carrying security for the positions of the Azerbaijan Army in the direction of Kalbajar came under fire.

Axar.az was informed about this by the Ministry of Defense.

It was reported that around 15:00 on September 2, units of the Armenian armed forces opened fire on the positions of our Army located in the direction of Yellija settlement of Kalbajar district from their positions located in the direction of Yukhari Shorja settlement of Basarkechar district of the state border, as well as 2 military vehicles carrying security to our mentioned positions.

As a result, the front part and windows of both cars were damaged. There are no casualties among our military personnel.

As a result of the adequate countermeasures taken by the units of the Azerbaijani Army, the other party was silenced.
