A farewell ceremony is held for the National Hero of Azerbaijan, Riad Ahmadov.

Axar.az reports that the farewell ceremony was organized at the Cultural Center of the State Security Service.

The ceremony is attended by the leadership of SSS, comrades-in-arms of the martyr, family members and public representatives.

After the farewell ceremony, the remains of Riad Ahmadov will be buried in the Second Alley of Honor.

It should be noted that the identification of the remains of 10 more people who went missing in the First Karabakh War and whose identities were determined was achieved last month. One of them is National Hero Riad Ahmadov. Riad Ahmadov, the National Hero of Azerbaijan, who was an employee of the State Security Service, worked for a long time as a professional officer in the security agencies. In 1989, when the Armenian armed forces started an undeclared war against Azerbaijan, Riad Ahmadov devoted all his skills to the creation of the National Army and was appointed as the deputy head of the Intelligence Department of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan. On January 26, 1992, Riad Ahmadov was injured in a battle with the intelligence group he led in the village of Dashalti and went missing.
