The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev addressed a letter of condolence to the Head of the Republic of Dagestan of the Russian Federation Sergey Malikov.

"Dear Sergey Alimovich,

I received the news of the terrorist acts committed in Derbent and Makhachkala, which resulted in numerous human casualties, with deep sorrow.

Sharing the grief of this heavy loss, on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan and personally, I extend my deepest condolences to you, to the families and loved ones of those who perished, and to all the people of Dagestan. I wish a speedy recovery to all the injured."
