An Azerbaijani became the highest-earning Russian

The second annual ranking of the 50 richest Russians by dividends received for 2023 has been announced.

Axar.az reports that "Forbes" published information about this.

"The rating is headed by Vahid Alekbarov, the main shareholder of Lukoil, whose dividend income is estimated at 177.4 billion rubles ($2 billion)," the information says.

It is noted that Lukoil was one of the few largest Russian companies that paid dividends in both 2022 and 2023.

It should be noted that the list of the 125 richest people in Russia is headed by Vahid Alakbarov, a partner of the Lukoil oil company, with a fortune of 28.6 billion dollars.
