In the famous "Times Square" in the city of New York, USA, an awareness campaign dedicated to Azerbaijan's Victory Day and November 9 - National Flag Day was held.

Axar.az reports that the project was organized by the Azerbaijan-American Youth Federation (AAYF) and supported by the State Committee for Work with Diaspora.

Azerbaijani youth studying in the United States, gathered under the organization of AAYF chairman Leyla Aslanova, informed tourists and local Americans visiting the square about the history of Azerbaijan's Victory Day.

Our compatriots chanted the slogans "Long Live Azerbaijan" and "Happy Victory Day Azerbaijan" with the tricolor flag of Azerbaijan. Tourists who visited the square took photos with the Azerbaijani flag.

Also, a map showing the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan was displayed on giant LED screens in "Times Square".

In addition, "November 8 is Victory Day of Azerbaijan!" A car with a LED screen displaying the slogan and Kharibbulbul, which is considered the Victory symbol of Azerbaijan, moved around the square and stopped on the 42nd street. The awareness campaign will continue until morning.
