Armenian YouTubers can finally earn money

The long-awaited news: Making money from YouTube will finally work in Armenia.

Axar.az reports that this was written by the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure of Armenia, Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, on his social network account.

“We welcome YouTube’s announcement to expand its presence in the Armenian market. This is an important step towards strengthening Armenia’s digital economy, our rapidly growing community of content producers/creators, and promoting the global visibility of Armenian content, culture, and innovation.

For Armenia, platforms like YouTube are not just about content: they are about economic opportunities, digital entrepreneurship, and strengthening public resistance to disinformation through diverse and trusted voices.

The Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia will continue to work with key global partners to ensure the full integration of Armenian creators and technology companies into the global digital ecosystem.

We look forward to continuing these positive developments together with our American partners and deepening our cooperation with YouTube and the broader technology community,” he noted.
