X removes blue checks from Iranian officials

X, a social media platform owned by American billionaire Elon Musk, has removed the "blue verification badges" from the accounts of some Iranian officials.

Axar.az informs that Haber7 reported this.

It was reported that among the accounts whose blue badges were removed were the accounts of Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, the head of the judiciary, Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei, and the Secretary-General of the Supreme National Security Council, Ali Larijani.

X has not yet commented on the issue.

It should be noted that US sanctions against Iran prohibit American companies from establishing trade relations with certain individuals and entities.
