Musk denies Tesla cars were used to spy in China

Tesla boss Elon Musk said his cars were not spying in China.

Axar.az reports citing reutters that Musk, who, depending on the markets, is the richest person on Earth, was responding to news that the Chinese military had banned Tesla’s from their facilities over concerns about cameras located on the cars.

“There’s a very strong incentive for us to be very confidential with any information,” Musk said during a virtual meeting of the China Development Forum Saturday.

“If Tesla used cars to spy in China or anywhere, we will get shut down,” Musk continued.
