Netflix, Universal extend licensing deal

Universal Filmed Entertainment Group (UFEG) and Netflix Inc. will extend the contract under which the streaming service has exclusive rights to Universal's animated features in the US, Variety reported on Tuesday.

Axar.az reports that the outlet described the contract as a "multi-year licensing deal," but failed to elaborate on the details of the agreement.

Since 2005, Universal's movies had been premiered on Home Box Office television network.
