A robot capable of vaccinating without needles developed

A new robot called Cobi, which can vaccinate without needles, has been developed in Canada.

Axar.az informs that the autonomous robot, developed by researchers at the University of Waterloo Tim Lasvel and Nima Zamani, injects the COVID-19 vaccine into the body with high-pressure serum instead of a needle.

The robot uses mapping sensors called LIDAR. Thanks to this technology, Cobi creates a model of the human body. A robot with artificial intelligence identifies the most suitable area for vaccination.

It was said that it would take two years for Cobi to be ready for commercial use.
