Is Twitter set to lose the iconic bird logo?

Microblogging platform Twitter owner Elon Musk on Sunday hinted that the social media platform will soon do away with the iconic bird logo, which has signified the brand over the years.

Axar.az reports that the decision to change the logo of Twitter is seen as the biggest overhaul by Musk since taking over the social media platform last year.

"And soon we shall bid adieu to the Twitter brand and, gradually, all the birds. If a good enough X logo is posted tonight, we'll make go live worldwide tomorrow", Musk tweeted.

Elon Musk's obsession with X is well known. In April, Musk appointed Linda Yaccarino as the new chief executive officer.

"Looking forward to working with Linda to transform this platform into X, the everything app", Musk tweeted.

"Buying Twitter is an accelerant to creating X, the everything app", he had tweeted.
