Twitter X subscribers can now hide the blue checkmark

Twitter, or the social media platform we’re now supposed to call “X,” is going through more changes beyond the rebranding Elon Musk initiated last month. The latest change concerns Twitter / X Blue subscribers and something else X has been working on for a few months, namely ID verification.

Axar.az reports that first things first, Twitter Blue or X Blue if you will subscribers now have the option to hide the checkmarks on their accounts. The blue checkmark next to a username denotes said user’s status as a subscriber, but X now allows paid users to hide this logo. X announced this change through its Help Center.
