Apple will present a tetraprism and 10x optical zoom telephoto camera in iPhone 17 Pro. It looks like it will be the best camera in the history of the App.

Apple plans to change the supplier of optics for the iPhone camera, moving from LG Innotek (supplier for the iPhone 15 Pro Max) to the Chinese company ICT, a subsidiary of Luxshare. The reasons for the supplier change have not been officially announced, but it is believed that it may be due to price competitiveness or possible quality issues with LG components.

There is currently no exact information on when Apple plans to introduce a 10x zoom camera. This is unlikely to coincide with the release of the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max: according to the publication, both 2024 flagships will receive an upgraded tetraprism with five times magnification, which is also used in the iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Some characteristics of the iPhone 17 and 17 Plus are already known, but there is still very little information about the iPhone 17 Pro.
