Mark Carney joins the Gaza peace council

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney has received an invitation from US President Donald Trump to join the Peace Council that will govern the Gaza Strip.

Axar.az informs that the Globe and Mail newspaper reported on this.

A government source told the publication that Carney accepted Trump's invitation to join the Peace Council.

It should be noted that the council also includes the US President's special representative Steve Whitkoff, the president's son-in-law Jared Kushner, former British Prime Minister (1997-2007) Tony Blair, and other important figures.
