Erdogan holds calls to ease Iran tensions

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is conducting active telephone diplomacy with Middle Eastern leaders regarding Iran to prevent the escalation of the conflict.

Axar.az informs that RIA Novosti reported this, citing a diplomatic source in Turkiye.

“Mr. President is using traditional telephone diplomacy to contact regional leaders to prevent the escalation of the conflict. Ankara is closely following the developments around Iran and advocates continuing dialogue as the main means of reducing tensions. The Turkish President will continue his visits to individual countries in the region in the near future as part of efforts to reduce tensions,” he said.
