Talks on a settlement in Ukraine are continuing, and there is still a long way to go, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said.

Axar.az informs “We have said many times that we should not fall into an overly enthusiastic perception of what is happening — that U.S. President Donald Trump has ‘put Europeans and Volodymyr Zelensky in their place’ and is demanding that they comply. All of this may be fine if we want to achieve peace in Ukraine, but we are not there yet,” Lavrov said in an interview with NTV.

“Negotiations are ongoing. The second round took place in Abu Dhabi, and there is still a long distance ahead.”
