Russian attack hits energy infrastructure in Odesa region

Russian forces struck an energy facility in the Odesa region, leaving settlements in three communities partially without electricity.

Axar.az informs according to Ukrinform, this was reported on Telegram by Head of the Odesa Regional State Administration Oleh Kiper.

“Overnight, the enemy carried out another cynical strike on the energy infrastructure of the Odesa region. Damage to an energy facility was recorded in the southern part of the region, and a fire broke out. An administrative building was also damaged. No information about casualties has been reported so far,” he said.

Kiper added that as a result of the strike, settlements in three territorial communities of the region were partially left without power. Critical infrastructure facilities have been switched to backup power supplied by generators.
