Ukraine sanctions 10 Russian athletes supporting war

Sanctions have been imposed on ten Russian athletes who support Russia's aggression against Ukraine.

Axar.az reports that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree on this.

According to the decision, Yevgeny Baydusov, Imam Ganishov, Svetlana Dashanimaeva, Arkady Dvorkovich, Yana Yegoryan, Vladislav Larin, Angelina Melnikova, Medina Taymazova, Maxim Khramtsov, and Fedor Chudinov were included in the sanctions list.

The sanctions include asset freezes, restrictions on trade operations, a complete suspension of resource transit, flights, and transportation through the territory of Ukraine, prevention of capital flows outside Ukraine, suspension of economic and financial obligations, and other measures.

It was reported that the individuals in question are accused of participating in the abduction of Ukrainian children and making illegal trips to the occupied territories of Ukraine.
