Georgia has not discussed restoring ties with Russia

The Georgian authorities have not held any discussions on the restoration of relations with Russia.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.

"We have not had any talks on the restoration of relations. If there is anything new in this matter, we will inform the public ourselves," Kobakhidze stressed.

It should be noted that earlier, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk stated that the possibility of restoring railway connections between Russia and Georgia via Abkhazia was being considered
