Zelensky failed to provide resources for 2023 counteroffensive

Volodymyr Zelensky and other officials failed to provide the resources needed for the 2023 counteroffensive.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Valerii Zaluzhnyi, Ukraine’s ambassador to the United Kingdom and former commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian army.

Zaluzhnyi noted that according to the plan, the goal was to liberate part of the Zaporizhzhia region, including the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, and then advance toward the Azov Sea. The attack aimed to cut off the Russian army’s only land route to Crimea.

According to him, Zelensky and other officials did not supply the army with the necessary resources, which is why the counteroffensive plan failed.
