The meeting between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Russian President Vladimir Putin has started in Samarkand.

Axar.az reports that the meeting took place in Samarkand within the framework of the 22nd Summit of the Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

They will discuss bilateral relations as well as regional issues.

The meeting between Putin and Erdogan is over.

According to information, the meeting lasted 40 minutes.

Putin thanked Erdogan for his contribution to the grain deal.

He also announced that the payment of 25 percent of gas supply payments in rubles will soon come into force.
