The Ukrainian army has liberated the town of Kalinovka, located north of Chasiv Yar.

Axar.az reports that this information was provided by Yulian Ropcke, an expert from the publication Bild.

"In the direction of Chasiv Yar to the west of Bakhmut, the Russian army is using a double strike tactic. The Russians are launching direct attacks on the Kanal microdistrict located in the east of the city and also bypassing it from the flanks. At the end of April, they advanced to the south and reached the Seversky Donets-Donbas canal. Recently, they captured the village of Kalinovka to the north. Although the microdistrict was completely destroyed, it remained in the hands of Ukrainian fighters. Yesterday, the Ukrainian army successfully counterattacked and recaptured Kalinovka," he stated.
