Four or five years ago, Sheikh Allahshukur Pashazade was nominated for the Nobel Prize. For technical reasons, this was not discussed at all. Nevertheless, we nominated Sheikh last year. This time it was confirmed.
Axar.az reports that the statement came from Vice President of the Nobel Information Center, Doctor of Historical Sciences Beybala Alasgarov in connection with the approval of the candidacy of Sheikh of the Caucasus Haji Allahshukur Pashazade for the Nobel Peace Prize.
Alasgarov said that the Sheikh of the Caucasus was nominated for this award for the following activities:
"First, our Sheikh stopped the Russian-Chechen war. At the time, he spoke with Chechen clerics and personally called Vladimir Putin, after which the war ended. His Highness Sheikh is also a National Hero of Chechnya.
The second reason is related to Ashura. Until now, on the day of Ashura, there was a lot of violence. He removed them. He began to donate blood directly to people in need. In other words, he turned an undesirable tradition into great humanitarian action. These two points are world-class activities. Stopping the Chechen-Russian war and making Ashura a blood donation tradition is not an ordinary event."
